A privileged people

Reading in Luke 10 this morning and just reminded of the privilege of being a Christian, of living this side of the coming of Jesus and having the eyes of our heart opened to recognise in him our God and Saviour: Then he (Jesus) turned to his disciples and said privately, "Blessed are the eyes that see what you see.  For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it." (Luke 10:23-24) Imagine being the envy of prophets and kings - not to mention angels! (see 1 Peter 1.12)
